Whats the part number for the ford skid plate and extra fasteners?
I'll testify SFR skids are hella stout and have clearance for the SBD. I plan to do the SBD thing in the future.

Want to finally pull the trigger on this for our ā€˜24 Heritage.
Only the mentioned part is out of stock.

Anyone who has mounted these on Braptors and other Bronco know if NB3Z5482B, the one listed for the 3.0l engine will fit a 2.7?

It is listed as one pound heavier so unsure if this is due to bracing, mounting point difference or wiring harness etc.

I ask this because it wouldn’t be the first time ford listed something solely for the Braptor that physically fits all models. (Ford didn’t know if the fuel skid would fit, but you all did.)

Thanks in advance!

No it will not work.
The correct one should be off back order in 2-3 weeks though.

Or if you're a little bit of a gambler, you could go salvaged. Might even be able to find free shipping and no sales tax. Though, I'm not sure I'd do it with this particular assembly as it seems some people have had issues with them.

I went the salvage route with my rear sway bar. That saved a few hundred bucks in my experiment. It ended up working fine, but I did have to rework one of the included end links for damaged threads.

Weird they look the exact same in person last I remember but I got rid of my Raptor so I can’t directly compare. I did do end links on it once and used the regular Badlands ones with no issues. If I still had the ability I’d measure up the differences if any

This is just a guess, but with the control arms on the braptor being longer i would bet that the sway bar arms are a different shape or length to match. It's possible the mechanicals are the same, but I'm not at all surprised that there's a difference in the assembly.

I disconnect at the beginning of the trail and it stays disconnected no matter what mode I'm in or how fast i go.
I used to do this, I have learned on the downhills with rock steps to engage it, so it acts more like a live axle and doesn't want to roll as bad. Save me more than once. I had a scare last trip on a downhill stepping off a boulder into an unseen dip.

I actually think the after build is the better way. It is low priority on the list, but if it goes out you lose a lot of functionality. I see the BCM as the biggest problem on my Bronco.

Yeah that’s my only figuring too for sure. Just going off how far past the frame it stuck out after plenty of time underneath both. But again just from memory it looked the same and for a ton of parts that I’ve swapped many of times in the last decade, a lot of Raptor specific parts tend to just be unique numbers for an otherwise same piece so the supplier can differentiate not necessarily that it is
