I'm hoping to gather some ideas from this community.
I got a work thing in Nashville during the early part of December but instead of taking what some may say is the smarter (and cheaper; round-trip flights can be had for under $100) route, I figured I should use this opportunity and enjoy a...
and @Rob1135ny the number I called for the certificate number is 1(800)-392-3673.
Take that certificate number to the dealer with you. The dealer can check order/name in their system (SmartVINCENT) for the "Model Year Transition Private Offer" which is under PGM #38644.
@RagnarKon has all the info you need in his Price Protection Thread
I can't word it any better than he did. Go through that flowchart and you'll find exactly how much price protection you have.
One other thing I did was call Ford marketing and find out my certificate number for the private...
Looks like @KillerPenz beat me to it.
But @Rob1135ny, why are you looking at invoice prices? I know our deal was for invoice pricing, but don’t you have pricing/DORA from your original order?
What @mattm54 said. It’s just a checklist that dealers have to go through before handing over the vehicle. Usually only takes a few hours, but like you saw, there are a crap-ton off broncos that were delivered so it may take a few days depending where you are in line for the PDI.
Are you waiting on the PDI? I actually stopped by Brewster today as well. Picked up the rim they fixed due to a scratch during transit as well as the tailgate bracket (plastic) that was cracked. My bronco is finally made whole.
And this week-long rain finally looks like it's ending so I can...
And yes, just picked up the Bronco. It was an easy in and out at Brewster. Even borrowed an impact driver from them so I could install my front license plate bracket on the Mod bumper. Brought mine, but it was a piece of crap drill/driver that didn't have enough torque for the TP40's.
As...
I thought red halos were just on the right side of the law, as long as they don't flash. A friend of mine had it on his car and the cop told him that any red lights are "highly discouraged" and that they will get pulled over more often than those without the red lights.
It might feel a little naked without a spare in the back, but my impatience got the better of me.
And yes, they are honoring the original deal. I'll give the full review after I pick up the vehicle tomorrow, but so far it's been a very easy process...other than these last few days when I knew...
Well, looks like I will be finally picking up the Bronco tomorrow afternoon.
Unfortunately there was a little damage in transit, but it's only a deep scratch on the rim.
I had the choice of waiting for it to get repaired and pick everything up next week or leave the tire/rim with them and...
I'm part of the Brewster group.
It's almost like this last part is the most difficult. Just knowing it's sitting on the lot waiting for it to be stocked in and PDI'd.
For all of you who have taken delivery, how long was it from delivery to dealership --> to pickup. From everything I'm seeing, PDI can be done in a few hours. Mine arrived at the dealer yesterday and waiting to get the go ahead to come on down.
