THE WORLD NEEDS SCOUTS.
To honor where we’ve come from.
To unlock the potential of what lies ahead.
To show our land the respect it deserves.
To lift up our communities and haul their heaviest burdens.
To lead the charge into the great unknown.
Scouts go first. Scouts go farther. Scouts always come back to lead the way.

We are carrying on that everlasting spirit.
We are Scout Motors.

We’re making the next generation
of all-electric trucks and rugged SUVs
for American drivers.

Volkswagen, a company known for making cars with weird electrical problems, wants to make all-new electric SUVs. Silly Germans.

It'll probably sell well at first, but I don't know if I see sustainability with it.

Doubt it'll sell well, ever...

How far away are they from offering reservations? I’m definitely not ready to go electric yet, but by the time these things are a reality, who knows?

Japan is going with hydrogen.

A couple months ago Toyota announced that they're keeping a diverse line up and not going all electric like other makers, and then Japan released their plan for red hydrogen.

Electric is ok for short distance where you can recharge overnight so you can repeat it the next day but it costs too much "time" to refuel/recharge an electric car for longer distance travel.

Good luck with the electric scout project!
