It's the type of breakdown too. Coming from a 13 year old Audi, I'm not afraid of a little check engine light, but I've never once been left for dead on the side of the road with that car.

I guess it'll still be an adventure, just not the one you hoped for lol. On the bright side, making it home will be a good break in?

Yea but a NEW car? Not! Yes I heard the break in critical part is just to vary the speed. Going to stop at the Grand Canyon for a few days!!

you are in the same boat as me but I am this week. Call your dealer and ask him to pull up his status screen. Then ask him if he sees the wrench icons. Have him click on the wrench and one tells you if the vehicle is build. My indicated it was build even though I am in production. So this gives me some hope too. Mine is just a 4 hour drive from MAP so assuming they have drivers it is possible. The other point he made is that the EDD in their system is something they look at and he has either seen it delivered or bumped not expire. So since we are close to now its something to keep an eye on.

Any other ways to track Union Pacific? The phone sucks, they don’t give much info.. CSX says no status available. Every time I call a day has been added to my delivery day. I was 4/26-5/2 now I’m 4/30-5/6.. I know other haven’t even shipped yet, please don’t kill me for this! Why is there not an online tracking system for trains? Like flight aware or something I need to track something or I’m going to go crazy, I feel like I’m living in pioneer times

No longer on a Chip Hold?

The trackers say "on Hold" in production but the dealers screen says build and EDD this week. Im thinking dealers info is better??

Yes I can confirm the stage coach has left Michigan! You probaly have tried your dealer? but they would get it just as soon as the rail line. The rail line just provides more details as its shipped. See my other post today about what to ask your dealer on his status screen.

That’s definitely how it feels I have asked them, I feel like at this point they may place a restraining order out on me ! I did just call Union Pacific again and it is supposed to leave St Louis at 2 today, and I gained a day back on the delivery end, so that’s a good sign! We will see how this next leg of the journey goes! St Louis to San Antonio should only take about 18 days right?!

Used part of my Bronco customer cash to have heated seats installed today. This is how they did.....

I would have let my 5 year old put the switches where he liked if I didn't give a shit.

EDIT: I'm also not paying for them until they order a new base for the seat, install it, and re-install one of the switches to match the other. This isn't amateur hour.

Ok, so my crazy ass decides to search the internet for A vehicle transport facility in Lawrenceville, GA as my Bronco has been there since last Thursday.

I finally find it, and kindly ask one of the gentleman who seems to be in charge if I may have any visitation rights for my locked up Bronco. He tells me he can't have anybody in his yard, but agrees to look up my VIN to confirm it's there and see what's going on.

I give him the last 8 Digits and he tells me......It's left an hour ago!

From my phone, none of the trackers have updated.

I just got home and checked Palsapp and it's now listed as Dispatched! Home stretch for real this time.

I called my dealer from the rail yard. He thinks I'm crazy. He's probably right.

I mean - I even sat there the whole time. I talked with them before hand and told them how long I've waited and how much I love it and that the plastic scratches like a cheap lotto ticket so be careful....

It's about 5/8" lower and 3/8" farther "in" or to the left.

Well, picked up my Bronco last night, driving home... service light, engine light, turbo issues, low power, you name it... dash lighting up like a Christmas tree

Long story short, it's on a wrecker this morning on it's way back to the dealership.

I'm lost for words on the experience of my first ever Ford..
