im going to say it now and out of frustration but I hate the soft top windows. I known it’s user error putting the sides back in but it’s getting more difficult each time, not easier.

Nevermind. Im an idiot. All is well.
I'm not a fan either. I wrestled with the damn things for 1/2 hour yesterday. Ended up pinching the fabric flap with the clips in-between the metal arms around the 'C' pillar while putting the top back up. Struggling with getting the windows to slide in the track. Feel like I'm going to rip something and I know there won't be any replacement parts available or if they are they won't be cheap.

So, I lied…

I ended up finding enough time to go ahead and get my lighting installed up front as well as my Element fire extinguishers mounted on to my previously installed JCR molle panels.

Six days until I step off that fire engine one last time.

Super excited.....kinda.

Our Bronco got delivered while we were out of town so we swung by the dealership yesterday while it was closed to see if we could check it out. Unfortunately we were a little disappointed with what we saw.
-about a 4" gash in the passenger seat leather
-Wildtrak hood decal was discolored and had water spots on it (snow?)
-Wider cowl was discolored (snow?)
-Lots of salt on undercarriage
-scratches on passenger rear door interior
-Chips in paint on A pillar

We are going to pick it up tonight so we will see how things go and how open they will be to fixing some of the above issues.

go down to your local auto parts store and buy a can of silicone spray. Grab a clean, lint free rag, spray silicone liberally on the rag, NOT the seals, wipe them all down. Voila! Your frustrations have ended!!!

Second tip, open the top to first position. This will relieve a bunch of tension that will allow you to clip and fasten everything a lot easier.

Water spouts can be removed . The rest will need dealer to fix asap

I just got these yesterday and now my wife has somewhere to put her phone instead of it sliding off her lap while I take turns :ROFLMAO:
That's hilarious. I am so happy that my Bronco came with the cool phone slot in front of the cupholders. It fits my phone perfectly! My husband never rides with me, so I haven't had that problem yet. lol

I am not going to volunteer firefight at this point. I am keeping my eyes and ears open for an opportunity that lends to my experience and position but, do not need a job so I can be very selective. Should I take on something in this next chapter, it would be an administrative/chief/training captain/safety type position. We shall see what transpires. For now, it's wrap this up, tie off the loose ends, get home, bury myself deep into my family, and breathe. Oh, and hopefully, learn how to sleep again!! That would be nice! Everyone who has gone before me tells me that takes about six months to figure out. That will be so nice!!!

When my husband retired from the military he pretty much had to reprogram his whole routine. It's nice to have him home after all those years of him being "there" but not there.

Baja designs from 4x4TruckLEDs. Configured as;

1st Pair: Squadron Sport, Spot
2nd Pair: S2 Pro, Driving/Combo, Amber
3rd Pair: S2 Pro, Wide Cornering
Harness Choice: All-In-One Upfitter Harness

The installation is stupid easy!!!!! The harness is 100% complete with only attachment to the upfitter wires in the engine bay needed to complete it after routing the harness, also quite simple.
