My plan too. How do you plan to ensure the paint sticking? That’s my concern. Definitely painting them ASAP

There was a guy on here who walked through his step by step process of scrubbing them and then used Behr Spray paint and it looked good. I’m going to do what he did and, if I mess it up, buy the black ones from Ford.

To be completely honest I’m not exactly sure. They didn’t really go over how any of it worked or show me any certificate. I also didn’t really think of it, just too excited to make the deal and happy I was at MSRP. I have to go back some time next week for spray liner and I can ask.

I totally understand, I forgot about it until someone brought it up in another group I’m with.
I believe you can use it for accessories and services, but double check.

Price protection update: My salesman texted me yesterday to say the certificate finally showed up and that Ford would be sending me a check for the $825 since my purchase was already complete.

1. Call 800-635-5768
2. Press 2.
3. Press 2.
4. Enter the letters on the numeric keypad then press #. As in: BNSF will be 2673 (then press #).
5. Enter the numbers then press #. Typing works better than voice prompts.

I cannot get that to work for TTGX953717. Even typing 8849, the answering service hears something completely different. Anyone else have that issue?

I had the same issue. I had much better luck with the CSX tracker.

the CSX tracker has its quirks too, though. Getting it to understand “TTGX” can be pretty frustrating…but it works eventually.

I signed a Ford form designating the dealer as the recipient and they deducted the $400 from the final sale price. Didn’t make sense to me to wrap the $’s into my loan.
