02/28/22 Build Week Thread

I apologize, I am an idiot, when I read your thread I just assumed you were bumped another week, was thinking 2/28 and saw the March date and wasn't paying attention that it was just two days away/in the same week. Duh. February sure is the shortest month.

Well I am stoked for you and Matt and I hope they hold. The very first time I was scheduled was not even two weeks ago on the 17th of January for 2/21 then bumped to this week with you guys. I reckon I have a few more bumps in me yet, it's inevitable as they catch up, but I'll get there. I know Matt initially got scheduled in the first half of December, when did you first get scheduled?

Originally scheduled for 2/21 back in December. Checked the Backdoor link a few weeks later and got moved to 2/28. So far this one has stuck. I’m not sure if having a day assigned makes it less moveable, but it feels like another step closer.

As far as the build day though, not to be a downer, but after being given the week (2/21) I was then updated by the CS gal and was told I then had an actual build DAY of 2/23, then the following week, this past Friday (as they update on Thursdays) I was bumped to the week of 2/28 with no build day. The CS person did tell me that once you have an actual day it is less likely to move, but then a week later it moved, soooooooooo .

I know the two different links, I am just saying that the links are not accurate for everyone so for instance the Vin and order number link on Ford's website has no scheduled date for me, yet I know I am scheduled with a week and a Vin. The backdoor site doesn't say shit other than order placed. Nor have I ever received an e-mail from Ford other than the very first time I place an order in January of 2021. Little to no consistency.
Don't get me wrong none of this really bothers me, I just like to rant, the Bronco CS has always been very nice and very helpful so I just stick to my weekly Friday calls.
Have fun at the gym, put in that work, get those gains.

After the = sign on the link below, enter the original reservation number or the same number which is now referred to as your order number on your Ford account on their website:

Here’s the entry page the link will take you to:

And here are my results which don’t say much other than there’s an order. I’ve read on the forums that this page won’t be updated until your blend date hits which is real close to your build date and has something to do with the chassis making it to the assembly line or something like that. Someone else feel free to clarify you this.

And lastly my dealer told me over the weekend that I’m scheduled for March 2 which is during the week of February 28. I‘m hoping the date holds but preparing for multiple delays.…

Ah--I had the wrong order number. This was very helpful. Much appreciated. FWIW-my order was also confirmed "10/08/21" (which is a random date, unconnected either my 2021 or 2022 order), and my build date per my dealer is 3/2. My screen looks just like yours.

Thanks and it was more of a workout than the gym! I‘m retired and don’t know how some post this kind of information multiple times each day. Probably because I‘m older and slower than the young ones….
