1095 Days and Waiting - Terrible Very Bad Update

It has been 1095 days since I placed my reservation. Ford Tracker said it delivered last week. Dealer says it is stuck at rail yard. I figure some day 1 reservation folks beat me on this dubious honor but curious what the longest wait has been.

**Update - Dealer called this morning. Pick up at 2:00. Arrive and they have it up front waiting. Do a walk around and notice 2 rock chips on the hood. They run it back to body/paint. Wait an hour. Body shop manager comes out apologizing and says they found a bunch more on the doors. "Mileage is 140 miles so maybe it was driven down a gravel road". They are going to hash out with Ford what to do. If paint shop fixes it, it will take 2-4 weeks.

Disappointed is an understatement....NOT SURE I WANT IT ANYMORE....

Same Wildtrack I ordered. Nothing caught my fancy enough to switch.

Did it not occur to any of you long timers to switch dealers? At what point did you know that just like it always is, dealer volume determines number of allocations. I'm guessing you were with very small dealers?

You couldn’t switch your order to another dealer. Option was to cancel and start over. Most of us that stuck around had really good deals. Now that I finally got mine, I’m glad I waited. But, it wasn’t like I need a car exactly 3 years ago. I just wanted the Bronco.

Glad you’re finally getting them and on the bright side a 23 should be a little better than a 21.

I was at 1160 days when I finally got it home, timeline in my sigline. A few self induced reasons for my delay like originally waiting for the mod top and then switching to the Heritage with its production issues but there's still a few early reservations waiting if they didn't get cancelled out by Ford for '23. Make sure you know your private offer and price protection numbers before you get there, sounds like the wait is almost over!

I’m guessing many on here now don’t know that the original plan from Ford was to build and deliver roughly on reservation time. That went out the window the first year and by then if you had already converted your reservation to a order you were stuck.

1095 days - that's only 3-years !
Some people are almost 5-months longer

On the bright side your '23 Wildtrak is a BIG Upgrade from a '21 Wildtrak. And with price protection on top of HOSS 3.0 your deal will be absolutely incredible !
And no '21 defective valves to worry. Just keep an eye on those cam phasers
