Updated on 1/26/2022 to show results from second analysis.

In short, everything looked good. I've attached my report as a reference.

I work at a natural gas transmission company, and we run oil analysis on ~350 reciprocating and turbine engines on a monthly basis. It's allowed us to address a lot of issues over the years, before they could result in catastrophic failure. I'm a big believer in doing it at least once a year on my cars. At $30/analysis, it's cheap insurance.

I do Blackstone analysis at each oil change in my Grumman Tiger. A single report doesn’t mean much but trends can reveal a great deal.
Engine failure at 8500ft often doesn’t end well. ;)

…….actually, truth be known, engine failure at 500 feet is worse…much fewer options.

I sent a sample to Blackstone for analysis after my first 1,000 mile oil change. In short, everything looked good. I've attached my report as a reference.

Clint, can you touch on your driving habits and the regimen you followed for break-in?

I tried not to use the cruise or go over 70. I varied speed as much as possible, and I didn’t go over ~50% throttle. No idea if it had an impact or not. Seems like there are a lot of varying opinions on proper break-in procedure.

Thanks.. I've heard all sorts of opinions on this, but yours seemed to work..

Getting a report is one thing, but what of us that have no idea how to interpret it?
Yeah, what do you learn from the oil report that is "actionable"? Change oil brands? Change filter brands?

Depending on the condition of the oil itself, they could tell you to shorten or lengthen time between oil changes.

Antifreeze in the oil could indicate a head gasket or intake manifold gasket leak. Fuel in the oil could indicate a fuel injector issue. Heavy metals could indicate excessive bearing wear.

I think they’d give you a heads up in the Comments section.
