These are really beautiful pieces. My original plan was to remove "SPORT" with a Dremel tool and repaint the red area to Badlands Orange. But now that I have them in my possession, the "SPORT" lettering is not raised as high as any of the other chrome areas. I think just putting heavier coats of paint/enamel will cover the "SPORT" lettering while keeping the finish smooth. Don't think any Dremel work is necessary on the front.
