I personally think the 2.3 sounds really good with a full exhaust and intake. Obviously it’s not a V8, but it has a great sound and makes a lot of power.

Borla has the best exhaust note I’ve heard on the 2.3l. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the focus rs has the same 2.3 eco boost. Very rally car-esque

You're better off making the 2.3L as quiet as possible.

I'm almost as willing to say that about the 2.7L since that sounds nearly as atrocious.

Something I randomly thought of today is how good can you possibly make the 2.3L exhaust sound? I listened to some different ones on the Ranger and it still sounds like an import tuner. I like my vehicles to sound nice but think the 2.7 is the only way to make that happen on this Bronco. I need the 7 speed though so I guess it's pick your poison.

I just ordered KOOKs Street Series 2 1/2 inch axel back exhaust through Lethal Performance. They have a test video and this is the best sounding one ive heard so far.
