I was on my was home from work and realized I've never floored the thing. The car had already been running for 25mins, last oil change was 1,000mi ago (5w30 Mobil1 FS), and fuel was from a Shell where I've been taking all my cars for years. So I thought it would be safe. On normal mode w/ RWD I floored while on the entrance ramp. Around 5800RPM a notification came on and I let off. No jerking, no sudden lost of power for 1 mile. Then I reached my neighborhood and the engine shut off. It still cracked and hit 800rpm, then shut down. I looked under the car, no leaks, oil level normal, no detached wires, nothing out of the ordinary. Had to call a friend with a 4Runner to tow it back. That smug look on his face...

It'll be inspected tomorrow at the local Ford dealer and maybe I'll get some answers.

The thing is babied... 21mpg with the modular bumper and winch.
(Which was convenient for towing it back...)

this is my guess too. Probably just blew an air intake tube off due to an improperly torqued hose clamp. If so, it’ll be an easy fix.

fingers crossed. Good luck.

There was an error on the exhaust recirculation system so I was more focused on the waste gates. I'll double check the charge pipes.

Codes don't always correspond with the actual problem which makes things fun sometimes. Obviously i'm going off of your description but my first guess would be an intercooler hose, or something else on the high pressure side popping off. I'd check to see that the MAP sensors are connected properly as well (mechanically and electrically). Assuming its like the mustang there should be on on the intake manifold and maybe one in the intercooler if my memory serves correct. If you're still stumped, to the dealer lol since its under warranty.

Also I wouldn't clear codes especially if you end up having to take it in to Ford.

Sounds like the seemingly common waste gate issue, I will keep my fingers crossed for you but the errors shown are typical of the failed waste gate on the turbo issue some are having.
