Day 1, Hour 1 Reservation. Dropped WT Jan 2023, Build week of 3/20 picked up Cinco de Mayo. Really impressed with the Non Sas Badlands right out of the box. Drives great and feels like a go cart compared to my F150 Raptor. In hindsight, I probably should have driven it more before ordering some parts but that is what happens when you wait almost 3 years!
My first Bronco was a 95 custom order manual transmission with manual locking hubs XLT trim. Forgot what they called the color but was close to antimatter blue with a custom Black top instead of the navy blue top. I would have gone with a manual but this car is also going to be driven by the entire family so in the interest of keeping everyone happy went with the 2.7 auto.
After two weeks, I think the Bilstein's are predictable and handling is good overall. I know there are better options but am not going to make a change for a while.
Next plans are to build a platform in the back for my dog and adding a trailer hitch for a bike rack and lights. Will see what else gets added later after living with it for a bit.
Arrival at Home with my Gen 3 Raptor on 37s
First mods are completed. RTR Front Grill. Install took longer and did bust a few plastic screws-one in the wheel well and one in the engine bay. Both were easily replaced.
I love Method wheels but decided to try something else on the Bronco. I went with RTR Tech 6 17x9 +30 offset with BFG 315x70R17. The RTRs are really light. BFGs are the tire I know and work well in the conditions here in the NE.
