@toystwo beat me to it, but this doesn’t seem like it’s directly from Ford. While everything seems plausible it seems like a dealer just putting two and two together, not that they have any inside info.

Sometime means a vague point in time, and usually refers to a long amount of time. Sometimes means occasionally. Some time refers to a period of time. Sometime refers to an unspecified point in time. It functions as an adverb, and is also synonymous with someday, one day...

.....or sooner or later.

Job #1 was s'pposed to be December 2020....now I guess June 2021, "pending no delays". Probably about the same time the 2022 Wrangler is orderable.

Yes, it does but I admit it is a bit ambiguous on Fords part. If I said I need something by September 5th you aren’t going to give it to me on the 6th and say it’s on time, by the 5th means its late after the 5th. It’s just like your mortgage, they say by the 15th, do you pay that on the 16th? Because if you do you get a late charge.

Now devils advocate is that “By September” for most people would mean that it will be available before September but using an entire month is ambiguous because I guess you could say you meant the whole month. But that just isn’t very proper and they should have said, “some time in September.”

By September means before or on September 1st.
