very interested to see if there is a difference between magnetic gray and carbonized gray. On my 2019 Ranger I have Magnetic gray and love it. Can anyone tell me if there will be a difference between my truck color and the carbonized gray bronco?

Yes, they are different colors.

No, they aren't that far off from each other. Magnetic is darker and has a bit less luster to it (it's rather dull and boring on my friends Mustang since he only washes it twice a year).

You can do the rest of the research yourself as only you can determine if you like it more or less than Magnetic.

Area 51 and Lightning Blue are my faves, but I'm a Base guy and am not spending thousands just for color. So I guess Rapid Red, Carb Gray? I wish Velocity Blue was up on the colorizer so I could get a feel for it, looks a bit loud in most of what I've seen. Maybe all the black/gray trim will mute it a bit....and sorry, I like the MIC gray top.

Plenty of Velocity Blue to be seen on Ford showrooms currently, if you really want to see it in person and get a feel for it.

I think this and the white top have been the two biggest questions all along. I’m sad to say that “just gray” is a more appropriate name than Cactus ?. But I’d love to hear @BaseMod confirm what their in person thoughts of CG are?

CG is hard to figure out even after my close up look. To me it looks like an off white with a hint of blue/green. Must be seen in person. I want to like it, but to me A51 was much better in person.

The Showcase vehicle color seems to have been changed significantly for production. Which makes some happy and some sad.

I did a quick snip of a variety of photos that have been posted with Cactus Gray and it was drastically closer in hue than I had been expecting. That being said, it still seems that the color represented below is not the color you will see 95% of the time.

Instead I think what you're saying is that you're going to be seeing this "off-white" almost exclusively in person. Can you view this video and see if it's far off from what you've seen?

Yea, that looks pretty nice. AMB is turning out too dark for me and VB is too light. I think it's A51 or LB for me.

Did you full-screen the video with 1080p? Obviously all of our eyes are a bit different. But it looked eggshell white pretty much everywhere unless the sun hit it juuuuuuuuuuuuust right. And that's in Las Vegas sun! Seattle "sun" isn't going to offer as much to go with.

Lightning blue and Area 51 are by far and away the best colors.

Also need a sand color and or a subdued green.

Yeah, I watched it full screen in 1080P on my laptop and projected it on my 4K OLED (still in 1080P, unfortunately. But there is a lot of noise in that video.

Jeez I wish Velocity Blue had been the FE color. Lightining Blue is awesome and I would probably switch to it from Area 51.
