I stopped by one of my local dealers today to drive a Ranger and test the 2.3 and one of the sales guys at the front desk had just opened a box with the new 2021 full lineup color option brochures. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snag one.

So we get a Code Orange that's clearly red and a Cyber Orange that's clearly yellow. Can we get the colorblind dude out of the paint dept at Ford??

Cyber orange looks pretty orange here.

You're not wrong about code orange though. ?

Why does Ford hate green so much?
It's interesting that they had relative success in the last 10-15 years or so with lighter green shades (Kiwi on Focus / Escape, Legend Lime on SN95 Mustang, Grabber Green in the Mustang family for a while now), but the darker greens they've tried in the same period on F-150, Taurus, Explorer (?) just don't catch on.

For most new model or MCE launches, there are certain number of spaces reserved for base standards (black, white, silver, red, gray) and certain number of spaces for fashion / current colors (blues, oranges, yellows, greens). I'd argue that they aren't trying the right shades, and lack of heavy demand isn't forcing them to do anything.

Abyss would have been great on the Bronco. Similar to leadfoot. But they stuck it on the Transit.

They just need to extend Guard to the Bronco. From initial looks, Cactus Grey (i.e., fighter jet grey) is not really green at all.

I missed the page with the green on it.....:(
Haven't you watched HGTV? Green is totally out. Beige too. Grays and Blues are in. White and Black are timeless.

I notice that Jeep has dropped Gator and Gobi (green and tan) and added Snazzberry (purple dark red) for 2021, keeping black, white, red, blue and three silver/greys.

My post was in sarcastic reference to how we are all channeled into a single design hot/must haves like shiplap and barn doors. But seriously, the design community thinks tans and greens are out, so we get what we get until they think they are in again. (This goes for interiors too...)
