Not a lot of progress lately as I’m waiting on parts but here is the plan:

At Overlanding Expo bought a Bush Company 270Max awning and plan to mount to GOBI rack on passenger side. Plan to buy Joolca double suite shower awning to mount to GOBI rack on driver side (RTT exit side). I will leave one side open during the night for those bathroom trips. Mounting to sides of RTT will be 4 Vision X campsite lights and to the rear Diode Dynamics Pods with amber backlit for chase light function or full ON yellow for rear viewing.

And lastly a cool shot with green Triumph next to me :)

Yup so that was you! I was behind you in Sandy OR in a race red 4 door with jersey plates. I was in awe of the rig!

Daughter had ski camp @My Hood for 2 weeks. I got to screw around..
How do you like those wheels? Any issues with water stains or ice build up?

The wheels are similar to what I had on my 4Runner and yes will build up water in the lower “trough” area so you gotta clean it often. Love_Hate relationship but i just blow out the water

How have the RCI skids and rock rails treated you so far?

20. The difference between as a 1/4” and w such a small difference, 20 was best for rock sliding

Still useable as a step with 20degrees? Im leaning towards 20 but do need them to be used as a step for the family

Yes…they work perfectly fine as I need a step as well but also wanted the best rock protection. I use them all the time to step on to get access to the top of the bronco, roof rack, tent, etc

No regrets

Decided to order Joolca single shower awning unit and heater. Thought about this a lot, coming up with different ideas but I think this will be the cleanest.

Mounted propane tank today but not sure I like the horizontal look. Might turn 90

Changed orientation of propane as I almost hit my head on the horizontal version.

LOOOONG awaited Bush Awning Max 270 XT installation. Went through initial set of GOBI brackets that were no where near strong enough and bent upon installation. GOBI then sent a proper set, similar to what they use on Jeeps for heavy/articulating awnings like this. Lots of micro adjusting but got it mounted and very happy with it. Next step is to take down again and install bag over the awning, marking bolt holes and making very small cuts. This will be another day.
