Diesel with an 8 speed, 2 speed transfer case?
Ford Bronco 2023 Ford Bronco VIN decoder. Reveals "Bronco Oates" mystery model 1660345077704

I would lose my shit if this were the case. No diesel is the only serious flaw in the Bronco revival, IMO.

Yeah I’d be trading in my 2.7. I don’t even care about door count or color. Or choice of top.
I can manage around all that if it isn’t exactly what I wanted for that setup.
I’ll just paint it myself whatever color I wanted.

Leave it primer for all I care, just give me that torque and mileage.

32" on a LWB 4x4 LWN Duramax Colorado. Last tank with my 36gal Titan tank was 860mi range. Small turbodiesels are where it's at.

I don’t care about hp
I want tq and mileage
I got 30+ Mph on a 6000lb truck on 38’s with a 105hp 4cyl Cummins and nv4500

it could pull anything with 4.56’s

Diesel 6MT. Reminds me of the 2004 concept. That would be nice. Doubt the US will see that.

I'm still hopeful this is a US model. A well informed person on this forum hinted at a 2 door only special edition. Didn't specify the market but most members you speak to on hear are in North America🤷‍♂️.

The ranger has a Diesel in other markets. If this is a diesel, sadly it would make sense if this did not come to the US, our EPA is against diesels and without a big political change there will not be any diesels 10 years from now. It does not make sense to spend money to develop a USA diesel with such a short life span left in them.

But my bet for this is a diesel, and it will sell well in the EU and other non USA markets.

Or this is some sort of farming version aimed at farmers. LOL I don't think a farming edition would sell well here or anywhere.

I would love to see a 2 door rock crawler edition. locking diffs, sway-bar disconnect and the stronger steering rack from the raptor, lower gears, keep it as narrow as they can. But not holding my breath.

Isn’t there a 3.0 liter diesel that is epa certified and currently in the ranger overseas and an f150?

The f150 had a diesel but dropped it. I though this was a different diesel than fit in the ranger. But if it is the same one then there is a chance.

"So Your'e telling me there's a chance!"
