Got word today that my ‘23 HE 2Dr has been cancelled but dealer was able to put a new order in for a ‘24 and said I should receive a private offer for the price increase. Anyone else hear the same or receive the private offer for the difference?

This is correct. A $4250 credit from the private offer. One remaining question is whether we jump to front of the line since we have been waiting so long.

Absolutely should be front of the line...shady if not...

Lots of good choices in your order.

a) 2.3L is THE engine for 2Dr Broncos - lighter, reliable, and way more power than needed.
b) Auto trans is fantastic and it's the only trans MAP is building since early '23. No tellin when MAP will build 7MT's again. Anyone ordering 7MT could be in for long wait open ended - and who knows if they're fixed or not.
c) If you're adding AUX switches and Step Rail you might just go with Black Diamond. Then have (6) full vehicle steel bash plates, AUX, and Rock Rails included.
d) Ordering a Bronco without SQ pkg is almost criminal.
With SQ you get both front & rear lockers, 4.7 gearing, same HOSS 2.0 suspension, drivetrain & axles as Badlands. And w SQ pkg you can install a leveling kit and then run 37's no problem at all. Broncos are just made for 37's
Thanks for the input. I did change my order several weeks ago to the Azure Gray color and the 4.27 gearing pkg with the lockers.
Its going to be my daily driver and I am on the short side so didn't want to go with the SQ pkg and the extra height. I don't plan on going rock crawling so the black diamond pkg just didn't make sense. Also trying to stay under 50k, the pricing just adds up.
I've really labored over my decisions and just was not sure at times which way to go.
I think i've finally put the engine debate to bed and sticking with the 2.3L and the auto for sure.
I figure if down the road I really get into some specialized off roading I can add materials as necessary.
Also, correct me if i'm wrong but with the 4.7 gearing I will be able to put larger tires on if desired, correct?

Just spoke with my dealer today about my 2024 raptor order placed around the end of Sep.

He said my order is in previewing so hopefully they have all the parts and it'll get scheduled this week.

He said to call him back Friday to check if it got picked up.

Adding 4.7 gearing and lockers on the Big Bend only happens when you order Sasquatch package.

Jw, anyone with a 2024 heard from Ford at all? Last info I got was the confirmation email back in August and never got a 45 day update or whatever. I know the strike effected things but was just wondering if anyone heard anything.
im in the same boat no word yet..

sorry, my mistake 4.27 gearing with the rear locker option.
That works! 4.46 with the manual is a little better if you are thinking 35’s. Even with 4.27’s you’ll be fine with 33’s.

Cost is always a factor.
To be sure all the options it's best to check the '24 Order Guide. This is best way to confirm what's included in your configuration.
Extra height is no problem. With Rock Rails you can add sidesteps like IAG EZ-Steps in about 20 minutes. Then no trouble at all to step in using the grab handles.
It will probably be a work in progress depending upon how I use it. I figure I will most likely adjust some things once I have it. Rather start small and work my way "UP" if necessary.

Wow, that's surprising, this is basically a form of price protection, right? How much of the price increase does this offset?

Unfortunately, there isn't really "a line". Ford hands out allocations monthly to all dealers based on their sales volume and any constrained parts. Each dealer then may or may not have a formal line. They may have multiple Bronco lines and place in line could even potentially be affected by individual options. A great dealer, based on each batch of new allocations might contact you and help you to not miss your place in line if you were willing to remove constrained options. I highly doubt that is the norm though, they put in an order and wait for that build allocation.

I suppose Ford could attempt to sort of "reallocation" for cancelled orders but that would be complicated and disruptive to their set process. So, in short, I highly doubt you will get this type of concession.

Good luck.

I got an unexpected email from my salesperson today saying my 24 Bronco Heritage is scheduled for January. I have had zero communication from Ford since my order confimation on Aug 18.

If this is true, then Ford is already scheduling 24's but not telling anybody except the dealers. So much for updates every 45 days.
