Just ordered a 2024 OBX, 314A. Disappointed that there are no factory 33" tire options (i.e., KO's) unless you order the SAS! Is an after-market product my only alternative?

Yes, or go through Ford Performance.

The Badlands comes with 33ā€ KO2s.

Also search around for take offs.

If you didnā€™t get SAS, yes. You also wonā€™t get much for you tire and/or rim take offs either. Craigslist and FB marketplace are littered with takeoffs that donā€™t sell. I got $250 for my BB tires and could only get rid of my rims by giving them away. If you arenā€™t off-roading the stock tires are actually quite nice on road and decent in snow. Many people drive them till they wear out then complete the upgrade when due for new tires.

Have the dealer put on 275/70R18's before you take delivery. 5 new KO2s will be thousands less than sas package.

Thanks for the reply. I may go ahead and see how the OEM tires work per your suggestion. Like you say, can't get much for them anyway.

Did you upgrade to the 4.27 axle?

No...I have a 2019 JL Rubicon now, and for the type of off-roading I plan to do with the Bronco, I don't think I'll need that upgrade.

If you want to go with 33's" $800 for a rear locker and better gearing seems very cheap. I can't believe 3.73 gears would be even offered on any Bronco outside the Base that came with 30" tires.

I agree youā€™re probably fine unless considering a bigger tire upsize. Iā€™m no off-road hero either, this thing is overbuilt for me as is šŸ˜…
