Ugh, didn't realize that you needed to remove the door to remove the fender.
I would bend in the door skin so it doesn't interfere with the fender, since you are going to need to fix it replace it anyway. I had to do that with my wife's Subaru Ascent once when she was in a similar situation.
update: I searched YouTube again for ANYONE removing the front fender and a couple I love to learn from at @1Five1Garage removed the front fender without taking the door off!

I watched, followed along and was able to get that dang fender off in order to remove the front door without ANYMORE damage!

the trick was placing those little rubber strips on the side of the door. When that front fender panel came a little lose I was able to sort of leverage the stuck door from overlapping that fender and voila!

the hinges were def the problem - they were bent / pulled backwards and def out of whack (see pic)
