Sounds good. Shoulda ordered the entire kit from us as we have a discount built into the ditch light kits BUT that's okay You know for next timeAdded some ditch lights, instead of squadron pros as on my other rig, decided to get the XL80. Originally was going with the LP4 but made more sense for these.
The light brackets are not going to work for me as they will vibrate/rattle on the trail.
I have now ordered the @4x4TruckLEDs.com mount which will be much more solid. No glare on hood as these are meant to be true ditch lights. Between these and the LP6 on thefront, the coverage/FOV is great. Will get a pic from a night run once I get the new mounts.
You're absolutely correct, but there is some business I do try to keep local, its a tough fight. But I do appreciate the full time coupon code for Bronco6g membersSounds good. I did the full 3" front and rear. I wanted to keep the rake as I have a pretty good amount of weight in the rear. 37, reinforced hinge/tailgate, HD spare tire carrier (on its way), recovery items which weigh a hefty amount in itself, compressor, tools, ice cooler, kids lol.Looks great. On the RPG collars, did you just go front or front and rear, and how much height? Thanks in advance.
Did your ghost antenna mount still work this these light mounts?New ditch light mounts installed, no rattle even with the heavy xl80.
That works. I'm sure you'd notice it moving before it fell off.Great call on the question, yes and no. No, the mount is not secured as it should be with both bolts. But I made it work temporarily. It does not move nor does it have any noticeable rattle for now.
From here I have several choices, get a trail sight mount, finagle something else to mount if where it is currently, or transfer to the tailgate.
My RCI transmission plate showed up and the box was busted open and the plastic bag that wrapped it was all scuffed up. It looked so bad, in fact, that I called and had another one being delivered until I realized that bend was meant to be there... lol Anyhow, I think FedEx did actually drop it out of the box, there's a dent on one corner where it hit the ground. It doesn't affect anything and nobody can see it, so I canceled the return. Still have to put it on, so hopefully it's not warped.RCI gas skids arrived.... I have a love/hate relationship with them, they make great quality products but packaging is the absolute worst I have even seen in my life. Im talking 25 sportbikes/builds, all my car builds both import/domestic, previous off road rigs, never had parts arrive this skimpy on packaging.
Have not installed yet, been waiting to use up some fuel to make life easier.
