Looks great. Hailstorm was brutal. Think they fixed 36 dings. I considered going the painted wheel route too. Couldn’t find a wheel I really liked. Almost pulled the trigger on a set of method 301 polished. They were 0 offset and I wasn’t sure how the poke would be on standard flares
Do not change from the steel wheels…….paint or powder coat if you wish, but those wheels look killer on these rigs.
I just got a set for my Badlands 4dr that’s are currently at the powdercoater…..khaki tan.
I love the 2” lift too.

I’m digging them more and more as the days roll on. As much as I’d like a little poke and wider stance I don’t want to go Sasquatch flares. I lived with 2” of poke on my F-150. Every trail water hole washed the side with mud and stones. I can’t deal with trail wash and paint chips on the bronco. These look great. Wider and taller than the stock 31”. Thinking it stays like this 👍🏼

Been a while since I got started on this. Been hot. Too hot. Anyway. Following @Tarheel_Wes thread for the diode dynamics C1 fog lights I mounted them up today. Using the white back light hooked to the standard fog and the full fog on an aux switch. Camera doesn’t pick up the backlight well but it’s there.
Here’s the mounting

Very nice man....what type of lens did you get in your C1's?

Can you share any details on how you mounted the C1's in the back on the hitch ?

I was contemplating mounting some flush ones into my bumper, but still pretty afraid to cut the bumper....I wanted to get the ones with the red backlights and tap those into my tail lights, and have the main beam come on when you throw it in reverse.

thanks bud. I got the C1 pro white wide for the front. The rear is sport white fog.
For the mounting in the back I used 1” square tubing. About 17-18” if I recall. POR 15 inside and out then flat black cover spray. Used two existing holes in the curt hitch to fasten the tube. Put the pods on the outside edge of the tube. I used the provided bolts but if I did it over I’d buy longer stainless and thru bolt it. PIA getting the bracket tight. Not using the backlight feature on the rear so wired it up to aux switch 5. Here’s a few pics. May help clarify my description

Due to the plug lock they are angled up a bit. But since they are not driving use the angle actually helps light up the area behind the bronco.
Hope that helps

and thanks for your write up on the C1 mounting in the front. Worked out perfectly

Took the day to detail the bronco. Thought it would be all day but that PPF and ceramic coating. Damned easy to clean and always looks freshly waxed. Water beads up and runs right off. ShoreStrike did a phenomenal job on the coating.

Been a while since I posted here. Giving the credit card a little break. Anyway, I had an issue getting a trailer tongue on the ball. The 33” spare tire sits lower and the tongue lock hits the spare when hitching up. Rough Country has a tailgate/spare tire support and relocation bracket. Got that installed tonight and gained approx 2” of space below the bottom of the spare tire. Makes hitching up trailer simple and supports the spare more on the hinges and less on the tailgate. Only complaint I have is they should have provided all black bolts. They sent gold bolts and silver nuts. Can’t see them from the back (blocked by the tire) but from the side it’s obvious they should be black. Overall pleased with the install and end results.

Still working thru the rock lights I’d like to install. Also ditching the lighted grill letters. Trying to keep it simple and useful. Progress, slow but steady.

Hey, nice build! Quick question. Do the tow wiring harness and the reverse lights plug n play kits both plug into the taillight connectors?

Were they able to plug into each other without any issues, if that makes sense? Or, did you have to do something special to get both of them to work?

the trailer plug is a plug and play kit that connects to tail lights. The 2 pod lights are connected to the auxiliary switch. Not the reverse lights. Hope that answers your questions

Filled in the last uplifter switch today. Rough Country rock LED lights. They do a great job lighting up underneath the running gear. Previous to this I installed the DV8 dual light pod and a set of ditch lights. Not a hardcore build or off-roader but just the right stuff for my needs.

Great job on your build, and thanks for sharing your progress. I was wondering how the SVC spring collar lift has worked out. The lift on your Bronco looks great but I was wondering if the ride has changed and any effects - positive or negative. I plan to go to larger tires and about a 2" lift once my current tires need replacement and the perch collars are something that I am considering.

personally I love the collar lift. It actually stiffened up the front end drop on braking. Off the dealer lot you could feel brake dive. Front end would dive down on braking. After the collars the front end is stiffer when braking. If I had to pick a negative it would be that same stiffness. Over speed humps it feels stiffer. You can feel the bumps more. But they are there to slow you down so if you take it as that it’s normal. If that makes sense.
The 2” is perfect for me. Allowed true 33” BFG tires. Removed the crash bars for clearance but may not have had to. Stance is perfect. 33’s are just right.

Another negative to my build would be the steelies. I like the old school look. But when these tires need replaced I’ll probably go with a brushed aluminum old school look with a little less back space. white letters out as well. Push the tire out a bit. I love the non-Sasquatch flares so a little poke is all I need.
What size tire you looking to go to. I know 35’s will fit without crash bars. And probably look sweet. For me the 33’s are perfect. Hope to see your build progress

Thanks so much for your feedback; it truly helps my decision process. My current plan for tires with the 2" lift is Kenda Klever R/T's, 35x10.5xR17. They are D load rated, so not as heavy as an E rated tire but the size and proportion that I want. I have a set of the after market crash bars from 4WParts that allow for larger tires. I have a few items to add over the next few months and then I will probably start a build thread. Basically it is an OBX that I am morphing into a utilitarian build reminiscent of the 90's Land Rover Defenders. Again, thanks so much for your reply.
