I've got the Rough Country version.
I have no mud flaps.
I have some chips but most or all of them I had before I even added the fender deletes.
The stock flares without mud flaps do not protect the rockers/bottom of doors, so I don't notice much difference.
Only big difference is stuff flying up onto the windshields/side mirrors.
