For those that installed the rough country tailgate reinforcement plate. How is it holding up through the winter? Is the powder coating showing rust?

I just installed my today. I am scared of aftermarket powder coated items. I have bad luck with them rusting eventually. I purchased the bolts and washers (black) to the carrier from a bolt company. Hex flanged bolts black like factory but longer 30mm.powder coating is fine. Bolts are rusting
My gaps were a little off too at first. So I loosened up the 4 tailgate bracket bolts and shifted the plate so I can thread the carrier bolts by hand. Then tightened all carrier bolts then tailgate bracket bolts. Finally torqued to spec.Powder coating is fine but I replaced the bolts because the originals were rusting. I also had to enlarge the holes where it bolts to the tailgate. It was pushing the tailgate towards the drivers side and the gaps weren’t correct.
Where do I find the factory torque specs for the rear door bolts? My gaps were a little off too at first. Someone on this board had this information to shareWhere do I find the factory torque specs for the rear door bolts?
I had the same experience. Little tight.. but loosening the tailgate hinge bolts allowed me to put it all together just fine.My gaps were a little off too at first.
