So I am a day one order, 6/30 blend like most of you. Like all here, my Bronco is stuck on dirt mountain. I thought I was over this experience (I "sold" my undelivered Bronco to a guy I've gotten to know since he "bought it" so have been watching for him but without the same level of emotion). That said, my buddy that I talked into placing a reservation weeks after the bronco reservation banks went live and hesitated to convert his ressie to an order, just got his early September build date. He learned from my experience and changed his order to a soft top. He will receive his Bronco months before me (or my buyer presuming he is still around). He is thrilled and I am thrilled for him but it fans the flames of anger for me (at Ford not him). Us Ford/Bronco loyalists who have been here from day one are provided no communication and no opportunity to remedy the situation. Why they won't just put soft tops on these things and let us have them is beyond me. I personally am so exhausted with the pandemic excuse. How is the pandemic responsible for poor communication, poor customer service and a flawed top design? I know the anger does no good but this set me off all over again.
You flipped it but it isn't even built yet??

Well I flipped it in June when I the dealer told me they were expecting it any day. The Bronco is built just with a bad top. I have had tons of conversations with the buyer and he is a super guy. I have been 100% transparent on the situation from the beginning. He understands that this is out of my control and has been extremely patient. That said, I don't know that he hangs around past October. At the premium he is paying, I'm sure he could find someone else to give up their delivered Bronco. For whatever reason, he doesn't seem inclined to go down that road. I get the sense that he is old school and feel like a deal is a deal. I am the same way and wouldn't have sold it to someone else if they offered a higher premium so I guess that is fair. There is a limit to that line of thinking though and I think Ford will push it to the breaking point.

UPDATE 08/23: These two new badges go out to all you Rapid Red and Anti-Matter Blue fans out there who must be extremely disappointed with the recent MY22 colours news!

Very witty taglines and inspiration are thanks to the wonderful @Mango&Moose ! Love it!

@CO-Bronco any ideas for tribute for those who will never get the dropped colors of RR and AMB?

This morning Granger posted that they had several FEs get scheduled for mid October. That would mean that ours should be done before or around that time. This could be good news for us on Dirt Mountain as Ford might be optimistic on MIC 2.0

You are assuming that they don't get bumped.

Won't somebody please think of the poor rodent population of dirt mountain. They are about to lose their homes, possibly sooner than expected. :ROFLMAO:

Sure hope so. Along with those that were scheduled for end of September. I'd like to be able to wash and detail before winter, since I already missed my summer vacations to bring it on.

Very true. But this also gives us a litmus test to see where Ford is with production. If they don’t get bumped, that’s good for us. If they do, then we can watch to see how late they get pushed.

I hope you are right @Papa Smurf !! I stopped checking my pizza tracker 18 times a day and only check like 2x week now, but maybe I'll have to start ramping back up again in a few weeks.

@Papa Smurf I came here to post the same thing re:FirstEditions.
Assuming they do not get pushed, this has me excited again.

Any over/under bets on when Ford is going to "communicate in Sept." with us BadBatch?
