Is there any kind of stipulation that says they can't hold vehicles for XX number of days before disclosing, taking action and/or deairing it a lemon or something?

I like this. Like the, you can’t sit on a runway for more than 8 hr rule on passenger jets.

fucking hell, wish I never heard that...

Problems that occur when cars sit unattended for long periods:

• Rust
• Brake issues
• Batteries that will not hold a charge
• Tires developing flat spots
• Damaged paint
• Screeching tires

I'm convinced that’s why all the new F150s bottoms are rusty. Sitting in a gravel lot waiting for parts is absolutely hell on a vehicle. Just soaks up all the moisture.

I ask, “at what point should I be concerned and do something different than just calling in, another month, 3 months, 6months, a year?” She said “I doubt it will take a year but honestly it could be another 3 months”. I asked “oh would my Bronco get thrown out then and would I be given a 2022?” She said “maybe bc the 2022’s are coming out in September” I said “even though I have a VIN and it’s already started to be built?” She said “oh you’re right probably a 2021 then( long pause) It won’t take a year but I’d call back in a few months if you still haven’t heard anything”

I’m going drinking.

I thought it was logistical in nature as to why I wasn't receiving my truck. But I called my dealer on Monday, he told me he now has a 2nd Bronco in route. Both were made after mine.
I was pretty pissed that my dealer didnt raise any red flags or dig deeper into the fact other vehicles were coming yet mine was still sitting outside of MAP.
I am headed in next Monday to sit with him and the GM, not sure where the convo is going to go or what is going to get resolved, but figured it was worth a shot.
At this point, I am convinced, nobody cares and it is what it is.

I am also convinced something went wrong w/a batch of vehicles and that's why so many are being held up. hope I am wrong.

Lol, I love the optimism but I'm sure there is no expiration date on partially built vehicles.

I definitely don't have knowledge on the topic but it doesn't sound reasonable that car manufacterers could just have cars sitting for an indefinite period of time

wow! I called last thursday and they said mine wasnt built! when 3 weeks prior they told me it was. the dealers system apparently shows built though.

I actually think you’ll talk to a more intelligent person if you don’t pick option 3 and instead use 0.

When I picked 3 earlier today I think I interrupted someone washing their dishes!! And it sounded like they were reading “canned answers”, explaining that I will get my bronco sometime after it’s shipped and delivered !!!!

Hung up, called back and skipped 3 and selected 0. They can see the same info.
