6.5” roll bar enclosures to replace 4” pods

Has anyone done this and if so what’s your take on them? I have all kicker speakers with the key200.4 amp and the 500.1 powering my sub. I’m not pleased with the sound output from the rear with the 4” kickers and was going to replace the pods with the SSV pods with 2 way 6.5 speakers.

I used Mabett 6.5 pods with Kicker 6.5 speakers. I also have the key 200.4 Try the Forscan mod first and if you’re still not happy - upgrade.Mabett’s we’re 169.00 on Amazon but it’s feast or famine whether there are any available.

I know Mabetts are the most popular on here but there have been a few that have done the SSV

I installed the SSV. I have the B&O system and it made a nice difference over the stock 4" speakers. SSV angles the pod so that it doesn't take up any more room than the stock pod. Just know if you get it unloaded, you need set of speakers that come with grilles. SSV does sell their grille as an accessory, but doesn't come with the pods.
