Updated Soft Top design improvements spotted on 2023MY Bronco

Just noticed this 23 Outerbanks with an updated Soft Top.

Biggest difference is the sides of the top portion are doubled up with a seam and some insulation on the sides. Makes the top look tighter and might actually cut down some noise. Haven't driven it yet.

I drove one, it had wavy windows too. 23 base model, it was only slightly louder than my hard top.

Yea wavy windows still but it does look much better in person than my top.

Curious about the wavy windows... Does the besttop or other manufacturers of softops, have the ability to pop up at the back for and extra 8-12" of clearance in the rear cargo area like the Ford soft top? Or are they fixed?

No. It's kind of a pain in the ass to open the back.

They’re fixed. The traditional unzip and flip up soft top. No “kickstand” feature like the Bronco soft top. And no way to completely fold back the top into full “convertible” mode.

And @Tricky Dick is right, it’s a gigantic pain.

The factory soft top’s functionality is better than any other soft top I’ve seen to date. But that extra functionality is probably what is causing those side windows to look so wavy.

Wonder if they decided to use better glue for the interior panels this time around.
