Ford updated the soft top clips recently

For those of us who haven't gotten our Broncos yet, can someone post a picture of the old design so we can compare?

Folks, I don’t know who needs to hear this but put your top back to position 1 then clip the windows back in, then close the top completely. When I was told this tip a couple weeks ago it changed my life. It went from torn up fingers, swearing, and 5 min per window to all smiles and done with all in less than 3. Carry on!

Not sure if it had been mentioned but took the windows out of my wife’s ‘22 bronco and ford changed the top. The clips now mount to little flaps that you can actually grab and clip the clips easily. mine are tight to the fabric and a pain in the rear on my ‘21

It should work and I can attest to this top becoming waaaay easier after a bit. It definitely claimed some skin and curse words in the process but now it’s butter.

I’ve stopped clipping mine on my ‘21 unless I’m traveling highways for a long time. I’ll clip them again in the fall and leave them alone for the winter. Now I’m tempted to raise the clips and see if I can get the wrinkle out some lol.

Wrinkles wont disappear until you lower the bottom edge of panel to be straight. It is the whole problem, the lower edge bracket/slide is about 1/2 inch too high. You can clearly see it in the stiching

Took delivery last week, mine are indeed the new style with the buckle mounted to a flap.

Forward half of the roof simply flipped back. Takes 10 seconds. And it takes tension off the rear section whenever you're dealing with the windows...

- Which piece is the lottery edge bracket?

it works. Took me 15-20 minutes the first two times. Then watched the Ford video and others on Youtube and noticed it was only partially closed when they put the windows back. Gamechanger.

I did this the first week I owned mine. I sewed them up so there is no slack on the top of the clip. It helps a bit but not a lot. I have also thought about getting another row of velcro sewed on to tighten it even further.
