This is more of a pondering thought. Once VIN's are assigned, how much of the Bump is related to dealer allocation for a specific dealer versus the constraints on specific models? Basically, if my dealer had 4 vehicles bump on say the 8/29 week, do they bump four of my dealer's later builds or is that all out the window and just a shuffle game from that point?

I'm likely overthinking the logic here, but curiosity got me. The whole discussion or allocation seems to point toward my dealer's vehicle bumping. Some get repeated bumps, and some built in their original week. Seems pretty random.

you are overthinking, haha, it has nothing to do with your dealer. It is all based on constraints and trying to fit your build into the assembly process.

Ordered 2/11/22 VCOP, no reservation Badlands, non SAS, 2.3, High, MIC, roof rack black gloss grey beadlock wheels. Confirmation of 9/12 build week from dealer. Ford Chat confirmed and gave me VIN. No email yet from Ford and nothing shows up on tracking yet.

Finally got the email from Ford on 8/25/22 still scheduled for 9/12 build week

I also received my email from Ford on 8/25/22 for a 9/12/22 Build week. Totally unexpected as I thought I would get pushed to 2023.

Long time since I posted and visited here. Time to do some catching up now that it's real.

Might not actually buy though. Will depend on final pricing and interest rates. Was hoping for recession rates...

8/5 - Still Unscheduled-Clean
8/24 - Chat says I'm scheduled to 9/12
8/25 - Email from Ford saying I'm scheduled to 9/12
8/30 - Chat says I'm scheduled for the week of 10/3
