As much as I love the script badges, we thought this would be something unique, and it really worked out! Thought others might appreciate it, and who doesn't love the 90s?

Also swapped out the OBX wheels for the Base style, and added 285/75/16 tires!

My 2 cents:

The Script badges work because the 6G is a throwback to the EB (Ford absolutely should have put the script badge on the 6G somewhere).

I don't think the 90's badges really fit because the full size Bronco is a completely different style. That and to do a specific trim like XL, I mean that shows a Bronco has specific options (which doesn't apply at all). If that style is what you like, at least have someone redesign the logo with OBX or something that shows YOUR trim level.

All of that being said, to each their own, it's your Bronco do what you want!
You are correct, but he has a four door and there were no four door early broncos. So how's about we compromise and go with the badge for the only previous 4 door broncos?

I like the flat black. That would look good on my HPR. Where did you get them?

I just grabbed this set off of ebay (last set).

"Sorry, not sorry". :p

Keep your eyes open and I would guess that others will show up (stock badging for 87-91).

Grind off the "II" and you got something....

One is sort of techno and the other western...

Although not a FSB fan, I have to admit that the block lettering fits the 6G better than the script.
Anybody want to 3D print a couple badges like the second one above but add a “I” so it reads “Bronco III”?

That hunk of crap was never a Bronco. It was built off a F-150 or F-350 crew cab, not a Bronco. Centurion didn't even call it a Bronco, it was a Centurion Classic.

Very cool! How is the ride with the new wheels/ tires compared with stock? I've toyed with the idea of eventually swapping out for something with more sidewall.

I commented on your Reddit post, but I really love this idea and might have to steal it for my own. Never found the Script badging to work with the modern design.

I'm all about seeing more tire than rim, and we really liked the base wheels compared to OBX so it worked out.

So far it honestly doesn't feel much different but it's only been driving around town since the upgrade. It added about an inch of overall diameter.

How easy do you think it’d be to paint the XL letters? Would be interested in trying to make them badlands orange to match some of my other accents.

I think a big part of why this looks good is the XL almost matches the A51 paint.
I agree it looks great on that Bronco. But I’m going to be VB and using light orange/badlands orange accents so not sure it would look quite as good in that application.

Wouldn't be to hard I wouldn't think. Just scuff up the area you want to paint, tape off areas that you don't want painted then prime and paint. Might want to add a clear coat just to be safe.

It should be super easy! So the “bronco” part and the lines are raised and painted chrome but the “xl” is actually etched/indented. You could definitely use a fine tip paint marker and carefully color it in!
