Added mudflaps this weekend

Sasquatch flares and factory ford mudflaps don't mix and match so I grabbed a set off Amazon for cheap. All that you need is 6, 1.5" #10 screws, #10 washers and a cheap ink pen to use as a spacer. Use the farthest inboard clip holding the splash shield for one screw (remove the plastic spreader screw). 2nd screw goes to the center of the rock rail end cap. 3rd screw to the raised barrel adjacent to the flare clip. Drill small pilot holes for 2nd and 3rd screws. Trial and error for spacer length. Put on both in under an hour.

Plasticolor has been around for 50 years . . . they are an experienced manufacturer in the automotive aftermarket, with items that are fully licensed (their use of the Ford oval is legit). Not only are the mud guards economically priced, but they are the only ones out there today I am aware of that are fiberglass reinforced, so they are extremely durable.

I hate flaps, but this is a great solution and preferable to rock chips. I went non-logo but actually paid $6 more....

Some very minor trimming and a easy to make bracket is all it takes to add factory flaps on a Sasquatch.

I wish there was a quick release system like the fenders for mud flaps.
That would be super handy for wheeling...

I did something similar the other day. A pair of $24 universal flaps from the local truck supply store, and a few screws I had laying around the garage. Sasquatch and rock rail compatible. Really just to hold me over until the Rokblokz are available but it does the job and looks alright too.

Was so easy it made me wonder what all the mudflap hoopla was about.

They are reinforced. You can see some fiber on rhe inside if you look closely.

3 screws per side. Once installed should take under 2 minutes to remove.
