I didn't think anyone has a 23 badlands yet. Congratulations. I got my 22 back in November. I had no problems adding sports mode on my 22 last week. It took me 10 minutes and I also eliminated the double honk when you walk away from the bronco still running with the fob in your pocket. Very happy so far. Sports mode gives you that little extra power you need on the highway. Its perfect. I usually run eco or normal when in town.

I’ve had my 2023 Badlands for a few weeks now. Looking to add Sport mode to it.

I would assume forscan will work on it just the same. The only real way to find out is to try it. This thread and YouTube have detailed instructions on how to do it. I wish you luck. Its pretty easy.

I only drive in sport mode, anything else is just not worth it (unless Im offroading and need the sway bar disconnect)

I managed to get sport mode on my 22 2.3L 7sp Badlands just a little bit ago. What I had was Forscan version 2.3.47 (newer will likely work too) with an extended license (needed to change ABS module). Then I went into the ABS Module (AS-BUILT) and modified the row 760-04-03 and went to the third column and changed the second character from a 9 to a B.

For example you will see something like:

760-04-03: 1234-5678-X9TY which would change to 1234-5678-XBTY

I received a checksum error that allowed me to continue past it. Then cycled the vehicle on/off. Then went back in and cleared any codes.

I have to do a test drive but waiting on a new torque wrench since I had to pull the wheel off to install the Mishimoto Oil catch can.
Isn’t it pointless for a manual? Lol all it does is change shift point right?

No it changes throttle response too. There is a noticeable difference when I drive in sport vs normal even with my manual. Also changes the boost points.
