Any one else hearing dealers have freedom to add $10-$30k additional pricing even to reservation holders? Seems super unfair to reservation holder that have been patient versus walk ins that didn’t….

Did you agree on a price early on? If not, shame on you. Find a better dealer.

We signed a buyers order signifying my agreement to pay MSRP. The dealer assumed it was to protect them from negotiation down the line. Little did I realize it would serve as a tool to buy at MSRP months later.

Ford discourages the dealers from doing so, but dealers are not owned or controlled by Ford. That's why they encouraged res. Holders to come up with an agreed sale price before ordering.

Oh yeah, my local Ford dealer loves to mark up thier vehicles. They received a $35k sticker price Base with no options and:

- Added $10k to the sticker price, now it's $45k.
- Sent it out and had about $3k worth of wheels/tires/small lift, then added another $10k to the price, now it's up to $55k.

And they instantly sold it.

Someone paid $60k (in CA you can figure about an additional 10% for tax & license) for a Base Bronco with no options and some nothing-special wheels/tires/lift.

Seriously? People, please stop paying that ADM!!

Dealers can do whatever they want. If you don’t have a signed purchase agreement or signed agreement of any sort, you’re at their mercy.

Dealers can do as they please. No way in hell I am paying even a nickel of a dealer mark up. MSRP is the most they will get.
