wake me up when there is a two door with clear removable glass or sliding windows and in an off white. something tells me no one will be waking me up any time soon - it was a fun ride when there was a 2 door being talked about behind the 4 door!

Don’t forget I was the first one to reserve one back in part 1. Hopefully in part 4 you will tell us the price.

Thanks for the updates.

Question @ADV Fiberglass.

You mention Roof Rack "compatible", does this mean you will not be selling racks yourselves?

I just wanted to point out that you cannot purchase a Roof Rack from Ford unless you order a hard top. I don't even think you can order one to be dealer installed... To my knowledge there are no aftermarket racks out yet. So that leaves people with the only option to buy a hard top and rack from Ford, then purchase your hard top... Just doesn't make sense imo.

Someone please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

It would GREATLY benefit you guys to include an option to purchase a Roof Rack with your hard top, if at all possible. I understand I'm probably in the minority for this situation.

Cheers

What exactly does “plug and play” mean regarding the wiper, washer and defroster?
Uh, you plug it in and it works... that's literally what plug and play means.

I would assume if you have a hardtop prep kit, you plug it in and the factory controls function as expected.

Misinformation. You’ll be able to order Ford rack soon. There are already a few aftermarket options.

What this DOES mean is any aftermarket rack that’s compatible with MIC should work.

Great news about the potential aftermarket prep kit. Not sure I’ll feel the need - but, it will be nice to have the option since mine was built in June.

Re: disappointed 2 door owners - what would you do with your MIC? Y’all get a hardtop. Why do you need another one?

Now it is time to get into some more details of our upcoming hardtop. Our hardtop specifics:

  1. Roof rack compatible (See pictures for examples of both tops)
  2. Wiper motor will be plug and play
  3. Defroster will be plug and play
  4. Washer fluid will be plug and play
  5. Hinges are included
  6. Rear struts are included
  7. All glass is included
  8. Sound deadening will be an option
  9. Our hardtop will work with the OEM Hardtop Prep Kit.

Here are answers to some questions from last week:

  1. What is the overall weight and weight capacity of the top?
    1. It is very similar to the OEM top weight.
  2. What about 2 Door Tops?
    1. We are focusing 100% on 4 Door Broncos at this time. At this time, we do not plan on developing a 2 door top. HOWEVER, that can change if we get enough interest.
  3. Will the White UV Textured match the OEM color?
    1. It will be a close match to Oxford White.
  4. Will the Black UV textured match the OEM color?
    1. It will be a close match to Shadow Black.
  5. Will we offer a “Hardtop Prep Kit” for those that did not get it from Ford?
    1. We are currently investigating developing our own hardtop prep kit.

Why leave out the 2 door people? That sucks.
100% of the 2 doors out there and the others to come have a hardtop already. it won't be wise to invest in develop a hardtop at this moment as the market that would be interested in this will be small. not to mention that 2 door it self is a small market at this moment as more than 70% of the Bronco out there are 4 door.

Believe me, The price of this hardtop won't be attractive for those that already have a hardtop.

That’s what I assumed but just wanted to verify. Thanks!
