Interesting. If that is in fact the same company doing business as "Advanced Fiberglass Concepts", then the CEO also owned the defunct company "Glassworks Unlimited" who produced aftermarket fiberglass fenders and other parts for Ford and Toyota trucks. The reviews are not great!

Yeah, and all it takes is five minutes of reading the comments about Glassworks to see that the current owner of the rebranded company was doing the exact same things that we all experienced while he was working there. Terrible customer service, poor communication, falsehoods, and broken promises.

That must be a very "advanced", hyper-accurate order tracker if they can track the "in-production" status, because isn't it still technically in production when you're having to put the rubber and headliner on yourself?!

yes, and since it’s been “in final assembly” since last June, there are 3 more bubbles remaining on the bar graph so I may be looking at 3 more years.

So once yall put it together for them, do you have to notify them so they can update the status for you and they can send you an email that it has been assembled?

It sounds confusing but it really isn... oh wait it is...

Been mentioned on this thread many times but yet nobody listens. People threw 7 grand to a company without any research first for product not yet in production. What was that famous saying from PT Barnum? At this point anybody who hasn't demanded a refund I don't feel sorry for because you're obviously not very bright. The 100% deposit couldn't have been a bigger red flag if it was broadcast on national tv 24/7 for week.

I’m so glad I jumped ship on the ADV top, and happy to report that my Turn Off-road top arrived today! What a long road. I’m just so relieved, I couldn’t do another summer without a roof top tent (only way the girlfriend will do long camping/overland trips).

Has ANYONE ACTUALLY RECEIVED their product?
I pinged Adv asking if I had been receiving incorrect information as it hadn’t changed in 6 weeks.

I received this response:

Hey Steven, Our manufacturing plant is working on addressing production timelines - We are working through adding more technicians to speed up timelines as much as possible. We're working off of adjusted timelines right now, and expect to have your order shipped in mid-late May. I'll reach out to you once I have a firmer ETA, feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

I replied with this:

Your explanation has not addressed one of my concerns.

How many hardtops have you actually delivered since providing the ‘detailed’ updates every 2 weeks?

that’s basically the same reply that I received back in February except they cut/ pasted April/ May.
