This would be the first news Iāve heard on the airbag issue since recall was announced, so it would be great if you have any more detail!Nope but I know they are being replaced at MAP now
I can say for sure that some were replaced at map last week. I cant say how I know, I promisedThis would be the first news Iāve heard on the airbag issue since recall was announced, so it would be great if you have any more detail!
Mine is still sitting at the dealer. After the shock wore off I went and took a good look at it. All five of the wheels are damaged also, Maybe from dirt mountain. I am just about over it!!!!!!!Anyone hear any news on when or if this problem will get solved? It truly does seem like it will be next year before this problem has been resolved. Has anyone received an email or a letter like was promised yet?
Mine is nearly to the dealership and I wonāt be able to take delivery until this issue is solved.
I hope you're right on this. Although if it is being replaced at the dealer next month or later, I guess it doesn't really matter when mine is released from the mountain.Nope but I know they are being replaced at MAP now
I really can't say how I know but I know 100 percent for sure that some have been fixed at MAP.I hope you're right on this. Although if it is being replaced at the dealer next month or later, I guess it doesn't really matter when mine is released from the mountain.

It doesn't make sense, does it? Mine shipped the 29th, arrived at my dealer the 30th, and there it will stay until Ford labels it a proper recall. They won't release it because it is part of a recall, yet the dealers can't repair them because it isn't really a recall yet...This is like pouring salt into a wound. After waiting 16 months my bronco lands (later than most) at the dealer with an airbag recall and if it would've been delayed a little longer it would've been fixed at the factory?!
You'd think this was a good step forward,.. but one thing I've learned through this, don't get your expectations up.
