Ok I’m at the edge of my patience. So fed up with shops and the techs they employ. I paid a National brand independent shop to perform an alignment because I was wearing the insides of the front tires, rotate and balance. When I got my truck back they had not even removed the wheels from the truck (and yes, they had the wheel lock key) when I got my Bronco back, the steering wheel was 10-15 degrees off center. It took them 4 attempts after that to get it straight. When I recieved the alignment sheet that day, the truck showed quite a bit of negative camber.both before and after the alignment. The shop manager explained it’s due to my lift. My Bronco is not lifted but that didn’t stop him from arguing that in fact it was. I decided to take it to a Ford dealership because surely they can handle such an easy task. Nope. It’s questionable if they rotated the 4 tires on the ground but definitely did not rotate the fresh brand spanking new spare off of the tailgate as it’s still in its original position. I had to ask for the alignment sheet and this is what I got. Can anyone confirm their truck came from the factory with too much negative camber and that there was no factory adjustment left to correct it? I am struggling with this concept of a factory stock truck rolling with maxed out alignment cams and still exhibiting negative camber. Now I do have a winch on the front and can see this adding some neg camber from weight. But I can’t see how that is so much it cannot be compensated for. And finally the truck vibrated the whole way home as the “Balance” was still off. And I’m out of pocket 500.00 between these two shops.
