Thanks much @Brian_B & @Ukko Wildtrak 👊. It was a significant undertaking.

In the bigger picture, the community needs to convince tuners of what we already know - that for all tunes and all octanes (more specifically those above pump 93 😉), what your engine "feels" and needs is an octane specification, period, NOT a % EtOH.

A given % EtOH will typically vary by about 5 octane points and that is not an acceptable risk/variation for ones engine.

The speedway around here tests 85% most of the year. Lowest I've seen in the winter was 70% but I don't test that often.

I appreciate all the comments.

Back to my original post - I see we have only two people using E85 exclusively. They both use a tune for optimal E85 performance.

Can anyone else provide their experiences using straight E85 with a 2.7L?
