Are they easy to take on/off when/if rock crawling etc?

It depends. As I have them with the front crash bars installed those block one of the screws. Otherwise it's 3 screws up front, 4 bolts out back. I think the Rockblokz would be what you want if you plan on taking them on/off often. These are flappy at the bottom, so that part will just easily fold over any rocks/obstacles. So actually I view that as more convinient. I doubt I'll ever do anything so extreme that I would need to remove them.
