In case y’all didn’t see this:

Through some friends of friends, I was able to get these photos of the real Ford paint samples sent to me. (And that's all I'll say about that...)

Area 51 and Antimatter Blue inside, in full sun, and in half sun half shade. Pics were taken on an iPhone with no touchup or filters. Both really look like two entirely different colors in the light vs. not. This has not made my decision ANY easier haha.

Seeing the Jay Leno video, and the samples above. I'm going for the AM Blue!

AM all the way. Even if it’s darker than I want, I won’t regret it because it’s true to the original. If I still have this car in 10 years it would make it that much more special knowing it’s a classic color. Although I am putting a lot of weight in the availability of white top. It will be the first thing I look for in the B&P...even before I look at what the other packages cost.

I am on the AMB train. I have down selected to three final colors but, if the white top is available then I’m done and it will be Antimatter Blue with the white top. I think that combo screams classic styling, will age well, and the AMB looks so cool in different lighting, it’s like having multiple different paint jobs on the same Bronco.

Changed my mind, A51 is now #1, AM Blue #2. AM Blue is just another shade of blue, A51 little more unique and not as popular.

How do you keep a white top clean over time? Try to keep the dirt and grime from getting imbedded.

It sure does! It's been on my long list of colour choices but I'd need to see it in person though. It's one of a few that I'd really need to see on an actual vehicle before I chose it.

Are both the top options smooth finish? Sorry if it's been answered/known but don't remember reading it. If the top is smooth then it's fairly easy to keep clean and hopefully if it is and doesn't come in white then getting it painted or wrapped will be an easy endeavor.

Honestly, i think the best part about going AM is that its trying to replicate the original dark blue. So it's a lot easier to pull the trigger without seeing it in person knowing you are staying true to the cause. Even if you dont like the actual color 100%, you'll still appreciate that its the retro color. I've sold myself on that concept, and it has removed a lot of stress from this decision making.

I don't care too much for staying "true to the cause."

I have no nostalgia based on the old Bronco. I just want my new one to look as good as possible! I do want like my colour 100%
