Any idea how long the swing gate is (when open)?

Self-explanatory title, and has anyone had any issues with the length when someone is parked by or behind them? OBX model if that changes anything.

I don’t know the exact measurement, but I haven’t had any problems with clearance. The gas strut also helps because it lets you open the tailgate slightly (probably between 30-40 degrees)so it doesn’t just fly open and smack into whatever is behind you. If you want it open to 90 degrees you have to push it past where the strut holds it. Mine is a 2 door though, so I don’t need to back in as deep into parking spots

I just park accordingly if I’m opening it. I’ll nose into the spot if I’m going to load something. If this is a parallel parking question, ugh . It’s not ideal. You can get items in and out put your not opening it fully.
