Looking to swap out my factory OBX wheels with rims and tires from either a badlands (32” bead lock) or black diamond (steelies). Haven’t been able to find any pictures online of either. Would love to see how it looks if anyone can help?

This is exactly what I’m planning on doing. I’m getting an OBX but I really like the Black Diamond steelies. I think I’m gonna swap the stock tires and wheels with BD ones and then when the tires wear out, I’ll put on 33s.

Though I’m wondering if I have to recalibrate anything when switching to BD tires/wheels

Same boat here - I have the steelies in my garage; going to buy tires at some point. Going from the stock OBX tire size to Black Diamond tires will cause some difference in the speedometer. I'm actually going to use 275/70/17 as the difference is minimal.

I've scoured the web for images as well - came up empty. I love the look but it'll be interesting how they look with the same color fender flares.

How do I go about recalibrating?

Recalibrating the speedo is straight forward in FORSCAN, but the difference between 32 and 33.5" tires (running the calibration for 33.5" is just about 4 mph at 70 mph). So with the smaller OBX tires (255/70R18) vs my (295/70R17), I have to have an indicated 74 mph to be going a GPS verified 70 mph.

These are my 33.5" tires vs the 32" Black Diamond tires.

Would I even have to recalibrate if I’m going from stock OBX tire and wheels to BD tire and wheels?

Honestly, I don't think that you would be able to tell the difference without some precise calibration (within the margin of tire wear).
