These work well and are high enough away from my head.

i like the paracord ones. They look cool, are soft/padded (feel good in the hand), and I dont have to worry about them becoming a deadly projectile or can opener incase of an accident. They were also only about $5 too. to each their own

The steering wheel is my only salvation. They may as well have junked the rest of them.

My '19 JLUR had grab handles on both A pillars. Therefore I don't see any reason the Bronco couldn't. If the airbag is the reason, then why does jeep have them?

The lack of the over the head grab handle seems odd to me, whatever. However- all you can get a these awful paracord ones?! 🤮

Someone can really cash in on make some hard plastic OEM clean looking ones imo.
You know what else is missing, any place for a clothes hangar. I was looking in my Bronco yesterday and there was nothing. When I had a Wrangler I rigged something up in the far back behind the rear seat.

My wife founds these I think on etsy, but not sure. The Bronco part is actually leather and stitched to the strap.

Wranglers do not have side curtain airbags.

Paracord is popular there probably because no damage smashing your head everytime you get in and out like if it was solid metal. Seems like a safety thing more than anything. Also, would it be in the way of airbag deployment in accident?

I have the paracord handles and they are great. I have my drivers side handle tucked up above the roll bar like others because it was right in my face. I use the steering wheel to get in. This may change once I get it lifted with 35s. I can barely slide in now at 5'7". I also use the handles in the back to hold clothes hangers but I really like those hooks for the far back by Mabett. I like the idea of the soft handles because of the possibility of getting hurt in an accident.

There is a good reason it doesn't have overhead grab handles, that is where the overhead certain airbags are. I like overhead handles but honestly it is a very minor issue, and the handles it does have work pretty well.
