Here are my measurements after installing 6112s (see images) Probably closer to an 1.25 difference between front and rear.

clip 4 front netted roughly an 1 in (advertised 1.8 in gain)

clip 5 rear netted roughly 1.25 in (advertised 1.2 in gain)

Stock was 39 front and 40 rear ground to fender.

still not sure why my front gain was so “minimal” compared to billstein advertised. no added weight over stock SAS. Hoping that changing to clip 5 in the front will give me what I’m looking for. I loaded up the cargo area with all my gear roughly 200lbs and sag was about 1/2 inch. When I go to clip 5 front I should be just about level when fully loaded.

Going to install 6112's kit (with the Bilstein springs that come in the kit) on my 2.7L Black Diamond 4Door. 35x12.5x17 tires.

It was noted in this thread that maybe the 2.7L changes the ammount of lift you get compared to the Bilstein Charts.

I don't understand why the Bilstein charts say that raising the Bronco more than 2.5" requires a new UCA, but it's my understanding that people lift Sasquatch Broncos 2" all of the time without a new UCA... And I thought that both the SAS, Base, Black Diamond, all have the same upper and lower control arms.. So wouldn't that mean that raising the SAS 2" would be the same as rasing the Black Diamond 3.1" ??

I will not be doing the install myself, and I don't want to pay twice to have the circlip moved up or down to get the desired ride height. I'm tempted to go 4front/4rear for the clip but that puts me at 2.8" lift hypothetical, but don't know what I'll actually be getting with the 2.7L, etc...

I installed a Ford performance tuned coilover with Builsteins 6112 shocks as a kit and for an reference on OBX 2.7 with Warn bumper and Evo10s winch it lift about 1.5 Inc on the front and 2.5 in the rear. The shocks in the kit do not have adjustability, so it drive great and not even close to level. 😄

Went up to clip 6 in the front and stayed at 5 in the rear.

drove roughly 300 miles after going from 4 to 6 in the front and remeasured.

Clip 6 front: 40.25in
Clip 5 rear: 41.25in

I netted 1.25in at the highest clip setting in the front. Started at 39in stock SAS with no additional weight up front.

I am somewhat disappointed that I couldn’t get another .5 out of the front when bilstein is advertising a 2.5in gain over stock SAS haha. I have an inch of rake with no rear cargo. I went camping this weekend and loaded the cargo area down and with all my gear I sagged about half an inch.

oh well…. Overall I am happy with the performance just wish I could have netted slightly more lift in the front.

Okay…I have and have an opportunity to get a set of lightly used 37in KO2s for a good deal. I wasn’t planning to go to 37s until I ran out the stock 35s, but that is changing.

Only getting 1.25in lift in the front on highest clip is bugging me after throwing down the coin on new coilovers.

I understand I will probably need the JKS kit, but with only 1.25in lift over stock SAS I might have clearance issues. I would love to be at 2in total lift in the front.

Question: Since I have the 6112s maxed, is there a 1/4in top spacer that will work with these to give the extra 1/2 inch or so I am looking for? I looked around online and couldn’t find anyone doing this or selling and option that works with the 6112s.

This is not my ideal solution but seems to be the option if I want to run these 37s with no issues.

So, I did my 6100's last weekend. Clip 5 (highest) in the rear and Clip 5 (supposedly 2") in front. While it was on the lift, we did a full RCI skid setup and Havoc TrailCrawler steps - so about 200lbs was added to the truck.

I got the adverstised lift in the rear, and a little over an inch in front.

My measurements are:

Front: 40in
Rear: 41.25

I have a feeling the Bilstein's numbers are with the 4-cylinder (I have the 6) and no additional weight. I would have gone with the highest clip if I would have known.

I don't think these will clear 37s. I'm fine with that as I was planning on keeping 35s. As a plus, we are probably really close to the stock geometry with a smaller chance of grenading steering components. It does ride slightly better and does better with bumps.

I have the Zone front level kit, I never put it on. The top spacer is about 3/8 inch thick, not sure if anyone makes a 1/4 ich thick plate. The bottom plate which goes below shock and swing arm through bolts is about 1/8 inch thick, which may get you 1/4 inch lift?

I run Maxxis RAZR At 37s on mine , No lift, they run a little smaller like BFGs. On stock rims I have no rubbing on road, and very little off road. Unless you are mobbing in the desert you can run 37s. ( those that run a little smaller are best)

there's a lot of discussion similar to this on this thread about shimming to get the desired front lift using additional spacer above an below the struts.

So I plan on setting the 6112s at clip 6 which is 1.7 inch lift in the front and clip 6 in rear which is 1.4 inch lift. I will add a winch in the front and have some equipment in the back so I figure setting should be maximum on front and rear, if anyone has suggestions if the rearnshould be 5 please let me know why. I also plan on getting 0 offset wheels and true 35s so they will stick out more. Do I still need to install the UCAs with this setup? I AM so confused on all this now. If UCA is recommended who makes the best ones? I AM currently leaning towards ICON but not sure if this is wasting money as I am not going to 37 inch tires just true 35s with 0mm offset wheel. I heard factory UCAs are pretty decent but don't want to risk anything.

You should not need UCAs. You should be able to get it aligned to spec.
