Anyone else thinking of removing or maybe powder coating the beauty rims off Sasquatch packages, some like the contrast, I honestly don’t mind it but I prefer all black like the WT or FE rims.

I’m sure u can drive without the beauty ring, but anyone out there have any info on this

I added a picture of a random google picture of someone removing beauty ring. I wonder if the Sasquatch rims are all black under that ring; like these trd’s

I was just thinking about that. Rings on optional BL wheels are CG. I think I would strip them down to bare aluminum and clear coat. I like that look.

Different colored rings and fasteners just look so flashy and busy.
I prefer all of it one color.
You can still "see" that it has rings and fasteners around the ring.

I also think the trend of silver fasteners around the rim of a wheel looks really bad. Trying to hard, too pimpish and too much jewelery.

Its just opposite the fundamental idea behind a utilitarian vehicle.

I've used Plastidip multiple times with great success. I'm dipping the trim rings the first week I get the Squatch'd Bronco...

I currently dipped my Dodge Dart wheels in Bronze Gold and they're going on winter #2. Still look great to me.

It might be but you will still have 24 threaded holes. The picture I posted is of an OEM Ford Gen 1 Raptor wheel.

Looks good. will be a good option for the rings and it’s not permanent which is good

I always hated those TRD wheels you posted because of the silver ring...then Toyota dropped it the next year and made new all black wheels which were way better. The Sas wheels on the Wildtrak are great...the other trims ruined by the silver trim ring. I’ll have to figure out some way to get them painted or powder coated to fix the problem. That will be the first mod out of the box.

Same, reason why I’m getting Squatch is so I don’t have to do any mods at all, but those rings just bother me a lot lol, I’ll have to see it in person I guess
