Not to mention it strains your eyes to use them.I used NV a lot in the Army, hate the 2D, you lose depth perception, easy to run into shit!
Why??? Anyone that has ever served is going to ask this question a lot, mostly because IR lights and NVGs are for tactical environments. For anyone out there who plans on driving under NV what IR lights will you add, do you think the screen will be wayyy to bright? Interior light kill switch ideas?
Last time this came up, I believe it was because the OP uses them for hunting. Not anything like the hunting I do in Michigan, but I believe people use them for hogs, and the OP of this thread mentioned coyotes. Why??? So unless your going to Afghanistan, why would you want to cripple your depth perception when you can equip a nice set of LED ultra bright off road lights and actually see the hazards your trying to avoid.
Can you even imagine having a pig problem so bad that this is the necessary solution?Last time this came up, I believe it was because the OP uses them for hunting. Not anything like the hunting I do in Michigan, but I believe people use them for hogs, and the OP of this thread mentioned coyotes.
lol, I guess people can use their Bronco however they want, but yikes, I don’t think I could drop 50k then go tool around in the dark with a pair of NVGs just waiting to wreck something. But to each their own.Last time this came up, I believe it was because the OP uses them for hunting. I think you’ll find plenty of people who hunt... and even more of us who shoot...Sooo im taking it no one night shoots on here or predator hunts hahahahah gotta love these responses though. Lots of good opinions on here.

But doing so under NODs is definitely not typical.
Pretty darn typical for predator hunting these days. Well, that and poaching.I think you’ll find plenty of people who hunt... and even more of us who shoot...

I once had to drive a real-world MEDEVAC at ntc in NODs. Had it floored the entire way, and that shit was nerve wracking.I used NV a lot in the Army, hate the 2D, you lose depth perception, easy to run into shit!
And for the low low price of a fully loaded first editionCan you even imagine having a pig problem so bad that this is the necessary solution?
