Anyway to "order" King Coilovers without paying up front and waiting a year?

I am interested in purchasing King Coilovers... I just have a problem paying for them and having a reseller hold onto my money for what could be a year. Its not that I don't have or want to spend the money...

I kinda view it like reserving/ordering a Bronco- With no definite delivery date, why would I want to risk my money? What happens if the vendor doesn't deliver or goes out of business? Its too late to dispute a credit card charger.

Could be any parts really, but Kings seem to have one of the longest lead times.

Some vendors will take your credit card info but not charge it until your parts ship. Have you inquired about that to whichever dealer you are considering? And is King really up to a whole year lead time now?

I ordered locally from King. They don't take a deposit. They know if you pass on the order someone will be happy to have them. Last summer a few off road shops had inventory. If you call King they will tell you if any shops have them in stock (if any). hoping to have mine by August and my Bronco in May. fingers crossed.

Check with the dealer you are ordering from. In some states, it's illegal to charge you the full amount until the product ships or is delivered.

I bought mine from Solo Motorsports along with their UCA's. 2 week lead time.
