Are Your Automatic Updates On?

Curious to see if Most people left "auto update" on or turned it off.
With all the screen glitches and whatnots.
Do you feel less glitchy not updating?
Or The updates fixed my issues?

Updates can cause bugs, but they also should fix them and release new features.

Although mine is set to auto update, I also haven't received an OTA update since September 2023... So I'm assuming that's a good thing

Yeah, I was surprised to see I got one in my ford pass app..I was hopeful no more gremlins come with it lol

you will get a notification on the display and if you miss it there will be an icon in the top right. If you have the FordPass app there will also be an unread message there

My updates never worked, likely never will work, and have to be manually done with FDRS apparently.

Mine are on but I never know if/when it updates- sent from my toaster

Sometimes I flat tow my Bronco, which is already iffy due to wacky electronics. I don’t want an automatic software update to rock the boat while I’m towing, therefore I leave it turned off. Periodically I turn it on, check for updates, then turn it back off again.

@Ford I hope you’re listening; many of us have lost faith in your software and electronics.
